Example of Akhlaq

Asalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatahu

SubhanAllah, RasulAllah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam epitomized the concept of akhlaq (the practice of manners). Try to study the simplicity of the hadith below… and lets try to mimic the practices of al nabi sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, habeeb Allah.

Narrated by Abdullah ibn Umar(Radhiallaho anho):
Allah’s Messenger (sallAllaahu `alaihi wasallam) said :If anyone
seeks protection in Allah’s name, grant him protection; if anyone
begs in Allah’s name, give him something; if anyone gives you an
invitation, accept it; and if anyone does you a kindness, recompense
him; but if you have not the means to do so, pray for him until you
feel that you have compensated him.

Abu Huraira (radiallaho unho) reported Allah's Messenger (salallaho alaihi wasallam) said that Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said: I have prepared for My pious servants which the eye has seen not, and the ear has heard not and no human heart has ever perceived such bounties leaving aside those about which Allah has informed you. He then recited:" No soul knows what comfort has been hidden for them". (Sahih Muslim, Book 040, Number 6782)

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Islam began as something strange, and it shall return to being something strange, so give glad tidings to the strangers." It was asked, "Who are those strangers, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "Those that correct the people when they become corrupt." [Reported by Abu Amr al-Dani, from the hadith of ibn Masoud. It is authentic according to al-Albani.

"If ye loan to God, a beautiful loan, He will double it to your (credit), and He will grant you Forgiveness: for God is most Ready to appreciate (service), Most Forbearing,- Knower of what is open, Exalted in Might, Full of Wisdom." (Surah 64, 17-18)

Suhaib reported that Allah(swt)'s Messenger (salillahu alaihi wa salam) said: Strange are the ways of a believer for there is good in every affair of his and this is not the case with anyone else except in the case of a believer for if he has an occasion to feel delight, he thanks (Allah (swt)), thus there is a good for him in it, and if he gets into trouble and shows resignation (and endures it patiently), there is a good for him in it. (Sahih Muslim Book 42, Number 7138)

"Seek help in patience and as-salat and truly, it is extremely heavy and hard except for the true believers in Allah - those who obey Allah with full submission, fear much from His punishment, and believe in His promise and His Warnings" (Surah Al-Baqarah).

"Those to whom the people said: Surely men have gathered against you, therefore fear them, but this increased their faith, and they said: Allah is sufficient for us and most excellent is the Protector. So they returned with favor from Allah and (His) grace, no evil touched them and they followed the pleasure of Allah; and Allah is the Lord of mighty grace. It is only the Shaitan that causes you to fear from his friends, but do not fear them, and fear Me if you are believers." (Surah 3:173-175).

Every soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of Life): For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception. "Ye shall certainly be tried and tested in your possessions and in your personal selves; and ye shall certainly Hear much that will grieve you, from those who received the Book before you and from those who worship many gods. But if ye persevere patiently, and guard against evil,-then that will be a determining factor in all affairs." (Surah Al-Imran)

On the authority of Abdullah bin Abbas who said: One day I was behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and he said to me, "Young man, I shall teach you some words [of advice]: Be mindful of Allah, and Allah will protect you. Be mindful of Allah, and you will find Him in front of you. If you ask, ask of Allah; if you seek help, seek help of Allah. Know that if the Nation were to gather together to benefit you with anything, it would benefit you only with something that Allah had already prescribed for you, and that if they gather together to harm you with anything, they would harm you only with something Allah had already prescribed for you. The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried. (At-Tirmidhi)

Salim reported on the authority of his father that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: A Muslim is the brother of a fellow-Muslim. He should neither commit oppression upon him nor ruin him, and he who meets the need of a brother, Allah would meet big needs, and he who relieved a Muslim from hardship Allah would relieve him from the hardships to which he would be put on the Day of Resurrection, and he who did not expose (the follies of a Muslim) Allah would conceal his follies on the Day of Resurrection. (Sahih Muslim Book 032, Number 6250)

Abu Huraira (radiallahu anho) reported Allah's Messenger (salallaho alaihi wasallam) as saying: A strong believer is better and is more lovable to Allah than a weak believer, and there is good in everyone, (but) cherish that which gives you benefit (in the Hereafter) and seek help from Allah and do not lose heart, and if anything (in the form of trouble) comes to you, don't say: If I had not done that, it would not have happened so and so, but say: Allah did that what He had ordained to do and your" if" opens the (gate) for the Satan. (Sahih Muslim Book 033, Number 6441)

Verily, with the hardship there is relief. Verily, with the hardship, there is relief." (Ash-Sharh: 5-6)

Who is he that will Loan to Allah a beautiful loan? for Allah will increase it manifold to his credit, and he will have (besides) a liberal Reward. One Day shalt thou see the believing men and the believing women- how their Light runs forward before them and by their right hands: (their greeting will be): "Good News for you this Day! Gardens beneath which flow rivers! to dwell therein for aye! This is indeed the highest Achievement!" One Day will the Hypocrites- men and women - say to the Believers: "Wait for us! Let us borrow (a Light) from your Light!" It will be said: "Turn ye back to your rear! then seek a Light (where ye can)!" So a wall will be put up betwixt them, with a gate therein. Within it will be Mercy throughout, and without it, all alongside, will be (Wrath and) Punishment! (Those without) will call out, "Were we not with you?" (The others) will reply, "True! but ye led yourselves into temptation; ye looked forward (to our ruin); ye doubted ((Allah)'s Promise); and (your false) desires deceived you; until there issued the Command of Allah. And the Deceiver deceived you in respect of Allah. "This Day shall no ransom be accepted of you, nor of those who rejected Allah." Your abode is the Fire: that is the proper place to claim you: and an evil refuge it is!" Has not the Time arrived for the Believers that their hearts in all humility should engage in the remembrance of Allah and of the Truth which has been revealed (to them), and that they should not become like those to whom was given Revelation aforetime, but long ages passed over them and their hearts grew hard? For many among them are rebellious transgressors. Know ye (all) that Allah giveth life to the earth after its death! already have We shown the Signs plainly to you, that ye may learn wisdom. For those who give in Charity, men and women, and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan, it shall be increased manifold (to their credit), and they shall have (besides) a liberal reward. (Surah 57, Ayat 11-18)
